Aweber.com is an email marketing software launched way back in 1998 and is still today one of the most popular email marketing services in the world.
Allows you to make the most of all the features needed to successfully carry out email marketing campaigns, allowing the user high customization and a good variety of functions and behavioral options with regard to autoresponders.
The strong point that has distinguished AWeber email marketing software for years , is its impeccable customer service. A support team prepared and ready to answer questions and concretely solve the problems that the user poses. Support is available 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is available via phone and in live chat, on weekdays Workdays (8am-8pm EST) and Weekends (9am-5pm EST) and if all that wasn’t enough, email support is also available, who replies on average within just 24 working hours (with detailed and exhaustive answers).

However, you need to know English because we’ll have to wait a little longer to have Aweber in Italian, even if a basic knowledge of the English language is enough to use it to the fullest without particular difficulties.

The main features of Aweber

Aweber allows you to create automations in complete simplicity: it must be recognized that it is really user-friendly.
The builder has a “drag and drop”, which allows you to move easily and quickly within the platform, with the possibility of creating automatic follow-up sequences. With automations, you can take advantage of the ability to add (or delete) “tags”; these can be added automatically to subscribers who perform an action between opening an email or clicking on links inserted in the email we sent. It goes without saying that tags assume enormous strategic importance, as on the basis of the latter it is possible to create targeted follow-up sequences based on specific interests/actions.

From the point of view of integrations we are on good levels, as Aweber can be integrated with social media, landing pages, shopping carts and many other software, in order to get the most out of the email campaign marketing that is being carried out (to mention some software with which Aweber can be integrated: Facebook, WordPress, Paypal, Shopify).

The analysis possibilities offered by the software are good, which tracks email openings, clicks and much more.

We point out that the plans are available (with limitations for the free plan): a library of free images, the possibility of creating registration forms, more than 700 templates to send your mails (some of these have a bit dated graphics though). Thanks to the integration with Canva it is possible to create customized templates directly within our trusted graphic platform.

Overall, the email marketing software reviewed offers good solutions and a fairly simple use, however we must make a note: as regards the possibilities of segmentation/automation, Aweber certainly has something less than al already reviewed
Active Campaign; the latter offers more advanced segmentation and behavioral solutions and, if on the one hand it is slightly more difficult to master it, on the other it is undoubtedly more complete.

How much does Aweber cost?

Aweber has two plans: a completely free basic one and a paid plan that can be accessed once you reach a certain level of growth.

• Plan Start Pro €19.99 per month: from 500 subscribers onwards, it includes unlimited functions with insights and analytics to control your results.

PROS

• Support available via phone, live chat, and email.
• Intuitive and user friendly interface.
• Software integration with other services such as Facebook and Canva.
• Functional and practical “drag and drop” builder.
• Good tracking of clicks, opens etc.

CONS

• Well made software, but does not reach the depth offered by some more illustrious competitors.
• Many of the “ready-to-use” templates offered to package your emails have a bit too “spartan” graphics.
• Software available in English only.
