MailerLite is a cheap and effective cloud email marketing tool, excellent for targeting your customers who prefer emails to calls or other forms of contact. This tool provides the user with campaign reporting, email automation, subscriber list management and result tracking tools, and can be considered an excellent alternative to Mailchimp and, given the many features also available with the free version, could be an intermediate step before moving on to more elaborate and profound software, but with a more expensive cost, such as for example Active Campaign.
In fact, the free version of MailerLite allows you to upload 1000 email addresses with a limit on the number of emails that can be send a month, which in any case allows you to work at your best and above all includes all the tools that are only available in paid versions on other platforms. This feature makes it suitable for users who are approaching email marketing or who have more limited needs, using an effective means that does not require too many skills and economic investments.

MailerLite offers a wide choice of templates already optimized for sending newsletter, but it is also possible to use a less “commercial” Rich Text format to avoid problems deriving from opening emails with various mail clients and on different devices.
This platform also allows to create pop ups, signup forms and landing pages to which you can entrust a custom domain, and thanks to the templates available and the drag and drop system it allows you to add elements such as buttons, videos, etc... quickly and easily without having to know programming languages and be design experts.
Mail automation and A/B testing
MailerLite also makes available all the automation part that on tools of the same type they are, often, only available in paid plans and with costs incurred. Automatic sending makes it easier to customize emails depending on an action performed by a user, for example by sending an ebook, a mini-course or an offer based on the data you have available of the user. The welcome mails can also be automated, which are always included in the free plan and are a valid business card to build customer loyalty as well as being a valid opportunity to present your company and provide information useful.
MailerLite also includes A/B testing, which allows you to send two slightly different emails to a sample of users to evaluate which version has better performance. Once the most effective version has been selected, you can choose to send it to all contacts, manually or automatically from the platform.
Furthermore, the automatic resending of the email if the user has not opened the mail or has not performed any action provided for in the mail. You can choose to send the email exactly the same as the first time or by changing the subject, the content or inserting a personalized message.
