Weebly it’s a e-commerce site builder, simile a WIX but in our opinion much more powerful: it includes an app store, an elaborate e-commerce and it is one of the best website design systems.

It has a complete and intuitive editor: the pages are created by dragging the elements in “drag and drop” mode and allow you to create the page as we thought it really; we appreciated the transparency of the background image, very clear, which allows you to work quietly, contrary to what we have found on other similar software.

Its internal e-commerce allows you to manage thousands of products, in addition, the e-commerce management tools made available by Weebly simplify receiving orders and selling online ; we mention among these many integrated payment tools and the possibility of using the tools to analyze all the e-commerce statistics in an extremely detailed way.

In addition to what has been listed up to now, the software integrates further marketing tools, such as for example the one to send and/or schedule the sending of newsletters, the possibility of sending emails for recovery of abandoned carts and advanced marketing programs, such as a coupon builder, for the creation of coupons that can be used by its users… but the list is really long, as Weebly has over 200 apps and integrations to help you manage your site directly within the platform, without having to resort to external software (this translates into “without having to pay extra sums of money for software and/or programmers external to the platform”).

The platform is completely mobile-friendly (obviously ed) and is very functional and responsive, especially as regards the step dedicated to the checkout.

How much does Weebly cost?

Let’s start by saying right away that Weebly offers a free plan (for those who need a website, not e-commerce), which is better than most of the free plans offered by many of its direct competitors. Includes 500MB of storage and a Weebly branded domain. We recommend this free plan to start getting familiar with the platform, even if the paid plans have more features for decidedly lower prices.

Let’s see in detail what Weebly’s subscription plans offer:

For websites:

• Free – 500mb of storage, free SSL security, Weebly branded domain, chat and mail support, and other limited features.
• Connect – 5€/month (with annual billing), includes a free custom domain but even here the features offered are quite limited (plus you only have 500mb of storage space).
• Pro –€10/month (billed annually), includes a free domain, unlimited storage, removes Weebly ads, accepts payments with Square and of third-party providers, provides advanced site statistics.
• Business – €20/month (billed annually), includes a free domain, $100 credit on Google Ads, article badges, article reviews, price calculator shipping, inventory management and other advanced features available.

For Online Stores:

• Pro – €10/month (billed annually), includes all basic platform features, plus accepts payments through third-party providers, chat support email and phone support, removes Weebly ads,  provides advanced statistics and other “average” features available.
• Business – €20/month (billed annually), includes a free domain, includes all Pro features, plus $100 credit on Google Ads, management inventory management, automatic tax calculation, item reviews, coupon codes, product reviews, advanced ecommerce statistics and much more.
• Business Plus – €30/month (billed annually), includes a free domain, includes all Business features, plus the email marketing function, calculation of real-time shipping based, pop-up notifications and much more.

PROS

• You can start with a free plan to familiarize yourself with the platform.
• You have many tools at your disposal and over 200 apps!

CONS

• Many tools are paid if you want to start using them right away.
• It could be a limit for very structured companies.
